Trotter-Standardbred Roadster Foundation
Trotter - Standardbred Roadster Foundation is a 501c3 founded in 2024. Our mission is to raise awareness and promote the Roadster show horse discipline as a rewarding second career option for off-the-track Standardbred racehorses. Through strategic partnerships, educational initiatives, and engaging events, we aim to provide access to Roadster competitions at all levels while supporting the transition and welfare of these remarkable athletes. By showcasing the athleticism and versatility of Standardbreds in the show ring, we strive to reduce the number of unwanted racehorses and foster a vibrant community dedicated to their continued success and well-being.

Trotter- Standardbred Roadster Foundation sponsored the Roadster to Bike Mare Stake at the 2025 World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville won by Full of Dreams, a 5 year old Standardbred mare driven by our honorary board member, Raymond Shively. The awards were presented by board members, Alex Curry , Alyssa Curry , Chuck Walker and Carolyn Cuevas Walker - whose husband Jon Walker, will be inducted into the Road Horse Hall of Fame. Congratulations to all. And good luck to all the off Track Standardbred Roadsters at the WCHS.
